Q: How long has RAC Milan been around?
A: RAC Milan, formerly Riverside United SC and later RFC, has been around over
40-years. The first Riverside FC club was formed in 1960 and went by the name of the Soccer Devils; more than a decade later Riverside United SC was formed.
Soccer Devil teams won several state and national titles and continued to compete until 1992, until the retirement of its president Mr. Joe Feola. RFC players continued to play for the next decade as SOccer Devils, RFC Venezia and Italia FC, in men’s open leagues throughout the Inland Empire. Today’s RFCM is a continuum of Riverside’s club soccer, but with its own individual history.
Q: Is RACM a non-profit organization?
A: RAC Milan Inc. is a 501(C) (3) non-profit organization with the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board. RACM teams in good standing may solicit tax exempt sponsorship using our Employee ID Number.
Q: What is the advantage of becoming a member of RAC Milan vs. going independent?
A: "D" license coaches or above with First Aid and CPR qualifications, local registration of players, home fields, a long history and tradition, dedicated board members that work hard to resolve problems, experienced and dedicated coaches and trainers, non-profit status and participation in the Raincross Cup, Participate in Milan Jr. Camps in Southern California. |
